What is the product range that ARDA Seeds sells?
ARDA seeds has a wide product range. Maize hybrids, Maize OPV, Vitamin A maize, Sugar-bean, Cowpeas, Wheat, Groundnuts, Sunflower, Sorghum, Pearl Millet and Velvet Bean.
What is the yield expected from your maize hybrids?
Z265: up to 12 tonnes/ha
ZS263: up to 10t/ha
ZS269: up to 12t/ha
In which regions does ZS265 perform best?
It is a climate smart variety. Border to Border. It is a variety bred for drought and low Nitrogen areas.
Which sugar-bean varieties do you have?
NUA 45 and Gloria
Which sunflower varieties do you have?
Mopane, Masasa, Peredovic.
Do you have any wheat varieties?
Yes. A high yielding variety called NCEMA.
What is the yield expected for NCEMA wheat seed?
Highveld-10t/ha, Middleveld-8t/ha, Lowveld-6t/ha under good management.
Where can I buy ARDA Seeds products?
All Farm and City, Farmbiz, Farmers Choice, NTS Farm-shops, MFS, GAIN and Omnia and countrywide amongst others.
Does your seed germinate well?
Our products are all certified which means that they meet all seed quality aspects including excellent germination.
Does ARDA Seeds sell Vitamin A Maize (VAM)/Orange maize?
Yes. ZS246A and ZS248A.
Can one grow orange maize next to white maize?
Yes, you can. You will need to an isolation distance of 200 metres or to
separate planting dates by a minimum of 2 weeks.

What is your current price per litre both diesel and petrol?
Prices are subject to change without notice and our quotations are valid for 24 hrs. We provide you with a price at the point of requesting.
Do your delivery trucks have meters?
Yes, they do have.
Do you offer credit facilities?
This depends on volume required, a certain % deposit down payment is required under this arrangement.
Do you deliver to my site?
Yes, we do deliver however you meet transport cost per every kilometre up to your destination.
What is your turnaround time?
D+2(Day of ordering+ 2 days for processing and delivering)

What do I need to qualify for Insurance?
All individuals with an Insurable interest.
What products are covered under insurance.
Crops, livestock, farm machinery, motor vehicles, buildings and many more
Which Risks are covered?
All major risks will be covered subject to type of cover selected by client.
What is referred to as the Sum Insured?
This is the full risk amount *(Market price of Asset in question)
What do I do when one of my insured Assets are affected by an Insured peril?
Urgently (within 24hrs) alert ARDA Insurance representative. Assessment reports will be required per each risk event.
How is loss calculated?
Claim payable will be calculated against the Sum Insured less any excess or savings applicable.
How do I access insurance?
Visit our ARDA offices at 3 McChlery avenue, Eastlea or Alternatively visit our ARDA website. (www.arda.co.zw)
How do I pay my subscriptions?
Ecocash, Cash, One money and Transfer. ARDA USSD platform *887#
What should I do after an incident?
Urgently get in touch with the ARDA Insurance sales rep within 24hrs (0242 72492)

Where is your lodge located?
In Muzarabani located at the ARDA Estate situated 210km from Harare.
How many rooms are available?
Four rooms available for Bed only
How do I make a reservation?
Customers can send an email to rudo.bakai@arda.co.zw or call 0712175334 or walk in to our lodge.
How do I cancel or change my reservation ?
Cancellations should be done 24hrs prior to date of check in. A cancellation charge will be levied to you.
What time is check in or check out?
Check in 2pm and check out 10am
